Free agent guard Mac McClung has agreed to a partially guaranteed deal with the Orlando Magic, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic. The 24-year-old took social media by storm after winning the 2023 NBA Dunk Contest but remained a two-way player for the 76ers and only appeared in two games last year. With the Delaware Blue Coats, the 76ers' G League affiliate, McClung averaged 19.8 points, 4.9 assists, and 2.7 rebounds per game across 31 games.

Sat Jul 22 202309:44Mac McClung Hoping To Land An NBA Contract
Guard Mac McClung is hopeful of playing in the NBA next season. The 24-year-old is an unrestricted free agent after spending last season in the 76ers organization, becoming the G League champion and even winning the NBA Slam Dunk Contest. "We'll see," McClung told Sean Deveney of Heavy.com. "I am in free agency right now, my agent is talking to some teams, back and forth. We're just trying to evaluate what is the best situation for me. Hopefully, I will be in the NBA next year and finding my way." Late last season McClung proved that he isn't all about big hops, posting a near triple-double in Philadelphia's regular-season finale against Brooklyn. However, he will likely only be a bench filler if a team decides to pick him up, and doesn't have any fantasy significance.

Sun Apr 9 202322:12Mac McClung Nearly Collects Triple-Double On Sunday
Philadelphia 76ers guard Mac McClung finally saw some playing time since winning the dunk contest in February. The new G-League Champion finished the game against the Brooklyn Nets with 20 points, nine rebounds, and nine assists on 8-for-17 shooting from the floor and 3-for-9 from deep. In a game that didn't mean much for the team, a lot of their two-way players and end-of-the-bench guys got to see some big minutes. McClung didn't disappoint but isn't going to be a factor at all in DFS for the playoffs.
