Jack Wilson broke a bone in his hand in an off-the-field incident on Saturday and is expected to miss a significant chunk of time. Woodward, 34, has an ugly .232/.303/.329 batting line in 401 at-bats this season at Triple-A Tacoma, but he's likely to see some time at second base.
