Fri Aug 3 201223:59Marlins likely to call up Nick Green
Marlins manager Ozzie Guillen said that Nick Green is an option to replace the injured Emilio Bonifacio (thumb) on the active roster.
Green, who turns 34 in September, is hitting .344/.398/.603 with 12 home runs, 47 RBI and a 1.001 OPS in 62 games at the Triple-A level this year. However, with an underwhelming .237/.305/.348 batting line over 1,131 plate appearances in the majors, he can be ignored in most fantasy leagues.
