Cavazos-Galvez was released by the Dodgers earlier this week, reports Matt Eddy of Baseball America.

Cavazos-Galvez had been hitting .313 in 23 games for Triple-A Albuquerque, so this one seems at bit odd. Still though, he's 27 and his power had disappeared, so perhaps Cavazos-Galvez will latch on with another organization.
