Braves signed OF Kyle Russell to a minor league contract.

Russell was released by the Dodgers earlier this week. The 26-year-old batted .251/.367/.466 with 11 home runs and an .833 OPS in 81 games last season between Double- and Triple-A and will serve as organizational depth with Atlanta.
