(AP) — Outfielder Alejandro De Aza has agreed to a minor league contract to return to the Washington Nationals.De Aza was a free agent and led off an exhibition game last week for a team of available big league players against Japanese amateurs in Bradenton.He spent time last season with Washington's Triple-A Syracuse affiliate and was called up to the majors in August when outfielder Brian Goodwin went on the disabled list. With the Giants' outfielders dropping like flies down the stretch, De Aza has carved out an everyday role in left field. He has batted .273 with a pair of stolen bases since becoming a regular September 11. He isn't very appealing to those in mixed leagues, but for deeper leagues De Aza could be a useful outfielder down the stretch who won't break the bank.
