RHP Arcenio Leon was given his unconditional release Monday. Leon spent most of the 2017 season with Triple-A Toledo, where in 26 relief appearances he was 1-2 with a 5.24 ERA. In six relief appearances with the Tigers he had a 12.15 ERA.

Leon split time between the Double-A and Triple-A levels in the Brewers organization in 2014. He was impressive with a 2.18 ERA with Double-A but struggled after being promoted, posting a 5.26 ERA in 28 games. The 28-year-old could still work his way to the big leagues at some point, but he'll likely start 2015 in the organization's minors.
