Mets acquired RHP Adrian Rosario and LHP Daniel Herrera from the Brewers to complete July's Francisco Rodriguez trade. | ||||||
Rosario, 21, struggled as a starter with High-A Brevard County this season, but found a comfort zone in the bullpen after being demoted to Class A Wisconsin, posting a 42/12 K/BB ratio over 33 2/3 innings. It's clear that his stuff plays better out of the bullpen, so he could continue to advance if the Mets keep him on the same path. If Rosario or/and Herrera work out, it will just be a bonus, anyway. Both teams got what they wanted in this trade. | ||||||

Brewers reacquired Rule 5 Draft pick RHP Adrian Rosario from the Orioles. | ||||||
The O's selected Rosario with the fourth overall pick in this past December's Rule 5 Draft, but they weren't able to find a spot for him this spring. He will probably head to the Brewers' Single-A affiliate to open the season. | ||||||
