Teaford signed a minor-league contract with the Rays on Friday, according to the pitcher's agency.

Teaford spent 2014 in the hitter-friendly KBO, submitting a 5.24 ERA over 99.2 innings with the LG Twins. He previously logged MLB appearances with the Royals from 2011 to 2013, but never enjoyed much sustained success in any of those trials.
