Diamondbacks acquired RHP Matt Gorgen from the Rays to complete July's Chad Qualls trade. |
Gorgen, a 23-year-old righty, posted a 1.65 ERA, 47/21 K/BB ratio and 22 saves in 49 innings as Double-A Montgomery's closer this season. He's a nice relief prospect and could see the big leagues by late 2011. |
