Rays signed INF Daniel Mayora to a minor league contract.

Mayora, 25, posted a .286/.352/.440 batting line last year at the Rockies' Double-A affiliate in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He hit only three home runs in 66 games and he's not a base-stealing threat. Our guess is that the Rays will get him started at the Double-A level after spring camp breaks.
