Rays acquired RHP Matt Lollis from the Padres in the Logan Forsythe trade.

Lollis stands at 6-foot-9 and has a big fastball, but his control is a work in progress. The 23-year-old was a full-time reliever for the first time last year and enjoyed great success with High-A Lake Elsinore, but he struggled after moving up to Double- and Triple-A. The Rays will be happy to take him on as a project.
