Beavan cleared waivers prior to being outrighted to Triple-A Tacoma, 710-AM ESPN Seattle's Shannon Drayer reports.
Activated from the 60-day DL just Friday, Beavan will take some time at the Triple-A level to get back into form. He'll presumably be available soon as emergency depth if the Mariners should need him.
Fri Aug 1 201417:08Beavan activated from 60-day DL and optioned to Triple-A Tacoma
Beavan was activated from the 60-day DL and optioned to Triple-A Tacoma, the Tacoma News Tribune reports.
On the DL since mid-April, Beavan recently completed a rehab assignment and will head to Tacoma as he continues to work his way back into form. Prior to hitting the DL, Beavan started only one game for Seattle.
Fri Jul 25 201408:37Blake Beavan activated, then optioned
Mariners activated RHP Blake Beavan from the 60-day disabled list; optioned him to Triple-a Tacoma.
Beavan is over his shoulder issue, but he'll join Tacoma's rotation rather than the big league roster. The righty allowed two runs over four frames in his lone start for the M's.

Fri Jul 18 201410:17Blake Beavan moves rehab up to Triple-A
Blake Beavan (shoulder) has moved his rehab assignment up to Triple-A Tacoma.
Out since mid-April with a shoulder impingement, Beavan allowed two runs and three hits in two innings for High-A High Desert on Monday in his first rehab start. He should be activated before too long but figures to be optioned to Triple-A at that point.

Fri May 30 201420:48Blake Beavan transferred to 60-day DL
Mariners transferred RHP Blake Beavan to the 60-day disabled list.
This was done merely as a procedural move to clear a spot on the 40-man roster for Endy Chavez who had his contract purchased on Friday. Beavan is still working his way back from a shoulder impingement.

Sun Apr 20 201413:32Blake Beavan could begin throwing soon
Blake Beavan (shoulder) could begin playing catch later this week.
Beavan was diagnosed last week with a shoulder impingement after having to leave an outing. There's no timetable for his return. "A lot of times, it's the bursa in your shoulder," Seattle trainer Rick Griffin explained. "It becomes inflamed. When that becomes inflamed, there isn't enough room for your shoulder to move around normally. So it pinches. When you throw the baseball, especially when you follow through, you get a pinching sensation in their shoulder. So you have to get the inflammation quieted down."

Tue Apr 15 201423:02Beavan leaves with injury, takes the loss
Blake Beavan took the loss in Tuesday's start against the Rangers after he allowed two runs over four innings of work.
Beavan exited with tightness in his right shoulder and was relieved by Dominic Leone. Overall, Beavan allowed six hits, zero walks, and struck out one. He was expected to make at least one more start, but the Mariners will evaluate him before sending him back out. If he does make his next scheduled start, it will be on Sunday against the Marlins.

Mariners recalled RHP Blake Beavan from Triple-A Tacoma.

Sat Apr 12 201417:55Beavan to start for the Mariners on Tuesday
Blake Beavan will start for the Mariners on the road Tuesday against the Rangers.
Beavan has a 2.08 ERA through his first two starts this season at Triple-A Tacoma, but the 25-year-old right-hander owns a 4.61 career ERA at the major league level and is not a good fantasy bet against Texas.

Tue Mar 25 201418:37Elias, Beavan to round out Mariners rotation
Roenis Elias and Blake Beavan have won the final two spots in the Mariners' rotation.
Randy Wolf actually won one of the spots (likely ahead of Beavan), but he decided to ask for his release after refusing to sign a 45-day advance consent release waiver. The M's are hoping that both Elias and Beavan are simply keeping rotation spots warm until Hisashi Iwakuma (finger) and Taijuan Walker (shoulder) are ready. Neither hold fantasy appeal.

Mon Mar 24 201417:50Beavan torched by the White Sox
Blake Beavan was hit hard in Monday's start against the White Sox, allowing seven runs in 5 1/3 innings.
Beavan struck out three and allowed seven hits, including a three-run home run to Marcus Semien in the second inning and a two-run home run to Paul Konerko in the sixth. Beavan is hoping to grab a spot in the Mariners' rotation, but his last two Cactus League starts have been ugly and may ultimately be his undoing.

Wed Mar 19 201418:02Beavan hit hard by the Brewers
Blake Beavan was hit hard by the Brewers, allowing seven runs in 5 2/3 innings during Wednesday's start.
Beavan allowed four home runs in the outing, giving up eight hits overall along with two walks while striking out four. The Mariners have suffered some losses in the rotation, so Beavan is attempting to pitch his way into the mix, but outings like this will certainly scare the Mariners.

Thu Mar 13 201418:05Beavan solid against the D'Backs
Blake Beavan allowed one run in 4 2/3 innings against the D'Backs in Thursday's start.
Beavan allowed five hits and struck out four in the effort. With recent injuries within the starting rotation, Beavan can temporarily pitch his way in by pitching well in the latter half of March.

Sun Mar 9 201400:25Blake Beavan pitches well in win over Dodgers
Blake Beavan pitched well in Saturday's Cactus League victory over the Dodgers, allowing three runs (one earned) on three hits over his three frames.
Beavan walked one and struck out a pair on the night. The 25-year-old had a very disappointing 2013 season, but with the dearth of injuries to the Mariners rotation has a shot to crack the Opening Day roster with a strong showing in Arizona.

Mon Mar 3 201417:54Beavan solid in three on Monday vs. Rockies
Blake Beavan allowed one run over three innings in Monday's 8-1 victory over the Rockies on Monday.
Beavan allowed four hits without issuing a walk or recording a strikeout. He will start the year with Triple-A Tacoma but a solid spring could bump his name closer to the top of the list if the Mariners happen to need a substitute during the season. Beavan struggled at both levels last season.

Fri Jul 12 201317:18M's option RHP Beavan to Triple-A
Mariners optioned RHP Blake Beavan to Triple-A Tacoma.
Beavan owns an ugly 6.13 ERA over two starts and 10 relief appearances with the Mariners this season, though his 27/8 K/BB ratio in 39 2/3 innings is pretty decent. He should get another shot in the Mariners' bullpen at some point during the second half.

Wed May 1 201317:02Mariners option Blake Beavan to AAA
Mariners optioned RHP Blake Beavan to Triple-A Tacoma.
Beavan opened the 2013 regular season in the Mariners' starting rotation but got demoted to the bullpen after allowing a total of 10 earned runs in his first two starts. He didn't fare much better in long relief.

Fri Apr 12 201319:35Blake Beavan heading to Mariners bullpen
After getting knocked around in each of his first two starts of the season, Blake Beavan is being moved to the Mariners' bullpen.
The recently acquired Aaron Harang will take his spot in the rotation. Beavan posted an 0-1 record and 7.59 ERA while allowing three home runs over his first two starts. He's likely to pitch in long-relief and mop-up duty, rendering him with absolutely no value in all fantasy formats.
