Kvasnicka suffered a bruised hip in a collision with Bryon Buxton while both were trying to make a play in the outfield Wednesday for Double-A New Britain. | ||||||
It was a hard collision and looked bad, so it sounds like Kvasnicka is lucky to only have a sore hip. Kvasnicka had a breakout season in 2013 (.800 OPS) at High-A, but hasn't been impressive this year (.265/.306/.416). At age 25, time is running out for the 25-year old to be considered much of a prospect. | ||||||
