According to Chris Cotillo of MLB Daily Dish, right-hander Jaye Chapman has agreed to a contract with the Bridgeport Bluefish of the independent Atlantic League. | ||||||
Chapman was hoping to find a minor league contract this winter or spring, but it never came about for him. The 26-year-old right-hander missed a large majority of the 2013 season with a hip injury. He'll now try to reestablish himself in independent ball. | ||||||
