Banwart's contract is being sold to the SK Wyverns in Korea. The 28-year-old has had a nice year at Triple-A, posting a 3.12 ERA with 78 strikeouts over 89 1/3 innings. | ||||||

Indians signed RHP Travis Banwart to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training. | ||||||
Banwart has spent all seven seasons of his pro career in the minors with the A's, posting a 4.21 ERA with 692 strikeouts over 857 innings. He put up a 4.60 mark in 2013 while splitting time between the rotation and bullpen. The 27-year-old will most likely begin 2014 at Triple-A. | ||||||
