Marlins acquired INF Yordy Cabrera from the Diamondbacks for RHP Heath Bell and cash considerations.

Cabrera, 22, posted a weak .232/.292/.332 batting line with three home runs and 21 RBI over 60 games this season in High-A ball. The Marlins were likely content with dumping some of Bell's remaining salary and probably don't have very high expectations that Cabrera will develop into a major league regular.
