The 22-year-old slashed an impressive .314/.353/.441 over 204 at-bats at Double-A Altoona, while making significant strides in trimming his strikeout rate down from a season earlier. The Pirates are well stocked in the outfield at both the major-league and minor-league level, so it's possible that Garcia will be traded at some point down the road for an asset at another position.
