Claimed by the Rockies in last year's Rule 5 draft, Rosenbaum was ultimately returned to the Nationals after failing to crack a rotation spot with Colorado in spring training. While working as a starter at Triple-A Syracuse in the Nats organization, Rosenbaum was limited to just four starts on the season due to injury. The 27-year-old will provide the Red Sox with some organizational starting pitching depth, but lefty doesn't appear to rank high in the pecking order for an eventual promotion to the big leagues. | ||||||
