Hawkins spent all of 2015 at Double-A, but injuries limited him to just 300 at-bats. He spent three weeks on the DL in June with a broken finger, and he has been on the shelf since late-July with plantar fasciitis. The drop in playing time resulted in less than half the home runs he had hit the previous two seasons (nine in 2015, 19 each in 2014 and 2013), and his OBP hovered around .300.
