Sat Jul 1 202313:39Archie Bradley Designated For Assignment
Miami Marlins relief pitcher Archie Bradley has been designated for assignment on Saturday. The 30-year-old reliever struggled with a 12.27 ERA, 2.32 WHIP, and 7:3 K/BB ratio over just 7 1/3 innings (four appearances) this season. Relief pitcher George Soriano was recalled from Triple-A Jacksonville in a corresponding move. Soriano posted a 2.70 ERA over 10 innings of relief earlier this season with Miami. As for Bradley, he'll likely go unclaimed on waivers and should end up with another club prior to the All-Star break.

Tue Jun 28 202218:07Archie Bradley Lands On Injured List With Elbow Fracture
The Los Angeles Angeles placed right-handed pitcher Archie Bradley (elbow) on the 15-day injured list on Tuesday. The 29-year-old was diagnosed with a broken right elbow and he will be facing a lengthy absence. Fellow right-hander Chase Silseth was called up from Double-A in a corresponding move. Bradley has struggled to find consistency in his first year with the Angels. Over 21 appearances, he's posted a 4.82 ERA and a 1.29 WHIP while converting 2-of-4 save opportunities.

Tue May 3 202211:04Archie Bradley Could Return In June
Los Angeles Angels relief pitcher Archie Bradley (abdominal) was placed on the injured list last Saturday with a left abdominal strain after tossing a scoreless inning on Friday against the Chicago White Sox. He suffered a similar injury last year that kept him out for a month, and he's expected to miss roughly the same amount of time with this injury. With that said, Bradley could possibly return in early June. The 29-year-old right-hander has allowed seven earned runs on eight hits while walking two and striking out seven in 8 2/3 innings so far this year, and he also has picked up one save in eight appearances. With Bradley out for the next month, Aaron Loup and Mike Mayers are in line for more setup work out of the bullpen.

Sat Apr 30 202222:53Archie Bradley Lands On The 10-Day Injured List
Los Angeles Angels pitcher Archie Bradley (abdomen) was placed on the 10-day injured list with a left abdominal strain on Saturday. He's racked up one save and three holds while sporting a 7.27 ERA, 1.15 WHIP, and seven strikeouts over 8 2/3 innings in 2022. The 29-year-old will miss at least the next ten days due to his abdominal injury. Aaron Loup should see an increase of setup duties while Bradley is sidelined and is worth rostering in leagues that reward the category saves and holds. Loup owns a 0.84 ERA, 0.38 WHIP, and 10 strikeouts across 10 2/3 innings in 2022.

Mon Apr 25 202200:48Archie Bradley Earns First Save
Los Angeles Angels relief pitcher Archie Bradley recorded his first save of the season on Sunday against the Baltimore Orioles. Jimmy Herget started pitching in the ninth inning, but was pulled after allowing a leadoff hit. Bradley came in and struck out Anthony Santander then got Ryan Mountcastle to ground into a double play. It was a nice outing by the veteran reliever who has struggled early in the season. He has a 9.45 ERA over his first 6 2/3 innings pitched right now. That being said, fantasy managers shouldn't jump to grab Bradley after one solid outing.

Thu Mar 17 202211:00Archie Bradley Set To Join Angels
Free-agent relief pitcher Archie Bradley is close to signing with the Los Angeles Angels and is headed to Arizona now, according to a source. Bradley spent last season pitching for the Philadelphia Phillies, where he recorded a 3.71 ERA, 1.43 WHIP, 40 strikeouts, 22 walks and two saves in 51 relief innings over 53 appearances. The veteran right-hander has 30 career saves in seven major league seasons and will likely fill a setup role ahead of closer Raisel Iglesias for the Halos. The 29-year-old isn't likely to have a ton of fantasy appeal unless you're in a deep holds league or Bradley becomes the closer at some point due to an injury to Iglesias.

Thu Aug 12 202116:49Archie Bradley Earns Relief Win With Two Strong Innings Thursday
Philadelphia Phillies relief pitcher Archie Bradley earned his seventh win of the season on Thursday by tossing two scoreless innings against the Dodgers. Bradley made quick work of the six batters he faced as he didn't allow a baserunner while picking up a strikeout. The right-hander has turned into one of the most trusted arms in the Philly bullpen as he's allowed just one run across 17 2/3 innings (0.51 ERA) since July 1. Ian Kennedy should see the bulk of the save chances, but Bradley is clearly next in line if Kennedy is unavailable.

Fri Aug 6 202110:30Archie Bradley Picks Up Save Versus Nats On Thursday
Philadelphia Phillies relief pitcher Archie Bradley allowed two hits and an unearned run, but held on for the save on Thursday to help complete a four-game sweep of Washington. Bradley allowed a one-out double to Juan Soto who would score one batter later on an error by shortstop Didi Gregorius, which put the tying run in scoring position. The right-hander buckled down, however, and got the next two outs to collect his second save as a Phillie. The Philly bullpen looks like it's fallen into a full-blown committee since Ranger Suarez moved to the starting rotation. Former Texas closer Ian Kennedy is in the mix, but he's gotten off to a rough start in Philadelphia and it was Jose Alvarado who earned the previous save. Kennedy is the most likely candidate to get the next save, but Bradley, Alvarado, and Hector Neris are also candidates.

Tue Aug 3 202110:09Archie Bradley Earns Relief Win Versus Nats On Monday
Philadelphia Phillies relief pitcher Archie Bradley pitched 1 2/3 scoreless innings on Monday and earned the win when the Phillies rallied in the ninth inning. Bradley was called upon to escape a jam left by Jose Alvarado and went on to pitch a scoreless eighth inning, picking up a strikeout along the way. Bradley has a 2.90 ERA in his first season with Philadelphia, but his 5.09 xFIP and 5.11 SIERA imply he's been lucky up to this point. He won't get saves with Ian Kennedy in town and he's got just a 12.7% strikeout rate. Bradley has little use in fantasy at this point.

NEW YORK (AP) — Taijuan Walker took a no-hitter into the sixth inning, Brandon Nimmo provided a spark in his return from the injured list and the New York Mets beat the crosstown Yankees 8-3 Saturday to open a three-game Subway Series. The Mets already led 8-0 when Aaron Judge homered with one out in the sixth to end Walker’s bid for the record-tying eighth no-hitter in the majors this season. Walker (7-3) was lifted after 5 2/3 innings and got a standing ovation from Mets fans among the season-high crowd of 40,047 at Yankee Stadium. Jordan Montgomery (3-3) stranded five Mets baserunners over the first three innings to keep it scoreless, but the visitors broke through in the fifth. Nimmo led off with a single, one of his three hits, and scored the first run. TIGERS 11, WHITE SOX 5 DETROIT (AP) — Eric Haase hit a three-run, inside-the-park homer and later cleared the fence for another three-run drive, and Detroit snapped Chicago's five-game winning streak.
