INF/OF Ty Kelly hit the first grand slam of his career, a pinch-hit shot to cap a seven-run sixth inning in Saturday's win over the San Francisco Giants. The four RBIs gave Kelly 14 with only 14 hits this season. Kelly was making just his second plate appearance in six games on the Phillies' trip. The pinch-hit slam was just the second of the major league season. Cleveland Indians 3B/OF Lonnie Chisenhall had one on April 14 against Detroit.

UTL Ty Kelly was recalled from Triple-A Lehigh Valley to take Velasquez's roster spot. Kelly, a switch hitter, has appeared in 48 games for the Phillies in 2017, hitting .186 with a .574 OPS in 70 at-bats. Kelly grounded out in a pinch-hitting appearance Friday.
