The Oakland Athletics placed outfielder Stephen Piscotty on the COVID-19 list on Friday and also placed A.J. Puk, Kirby Snead and Austin Allen on the restricted list. Catcher Christian Bethancourt, infielder Drew Jackson, right-hander Ryan Castellani and left-hander Zach Logue have been called up. It's unclear whether Piscotty has tested positive for the virus. The 31-year-old is 4-for-14 with one RBI, one steal and one run scored in his first 17 plate appearances over the first five games of the season. Until he clears the league's protocols, Chad Pinder and Tony Kemp could see more playing time in the outfield, starting on Friday against the Toronto Blue Jays.
