Scott Richmond has signed a one-year, $600,000 contract with the Lotte Giants of the Korean Baseball Organization.
Richmond made 24 starts for the Blue Jays back in 2009, but he's mostly been in the minors since then. He's struggled the last two years at Triple-A, posting a 7.33 ERA in 2011 and 5.61 ERA this past season.

Richmond surrendered three earned runs in a two-inning outing against the Pirates last Thursday in his only appearance of the spring. The Jays are hoping that he will be able to return to the mound by the end of next week. He's a longshot to make the Opening Day roster.
