Casteel, 24, is slashing .303/.312/.434 over 126 plate appearances at Triple-A Albuquerque.

Casteel has missed most of the season due to injury, but after tearing up the Texas League while he was healthy in 2014, the Rockies didn't wait long to promote him to Triple-A once he was ready to play. His power has tailed off considerably with the move to Albuquerque, but the backstop continues to showcase fine contact skills in the upper minors. He could be added to the Rockies' 40-man roster during the offseason.
