CLEVELAND -- Edwin Encarnacion's grand slam in the 11th inning capped a wild night as the Cleveland Indians, after blowing an early seven-run lead, rallied to beat the Los Angeles Angels 11-7 on Tuesday.Bradley Zimmer, whose grand slam highlighted a seven-run Cleveland second inning, led off the bottom of the 11th by drawing a walk from Bud Norris (1-3). Zimmer stole second base, then went to third when Norris walked Francisco Lindor but threw a wild pitch on ball four.Michael Brantley was intentionally walked, loading the bases, and Encarnacion hit Norris' first pitch into the left field bleachers for the walk-off grand slam. The designated hitter's 21st homer of the year gave the Indians their fifth consecutive victory.Los Angeles, which trailed 7-0 after two innings, scored four runs in the third and two in the fifth. Aaron Judge singled and scored on Didi Gregorius' sacrifice fly to right in the fourth, Austin Romine lined an RBI double to right in the fifth, and Gregorius hit a home run in the eighth.The Yankees' Jordan Montgomery (7-5) lost his no-hit bid two pitches into the sixth inning when Scott Schebler lined a double to center field. LOUIS -- Jedd Gyorko's sacrifice fly in the bottom of the ninth inning lifted St. Louis over Chicago.Harrison Bader started the winning rally with his first big league hit, a double to left off Jake McGee (0-1). After Greg Garcia bunted Bader to third, Gyorko pinch-hit and lofted a fly ball to shallow right.Carlos Gonzalez made the catch and unleashed an accurate throw home, but catcher Ryan Hanigan couldn't handle the short hop as Bader slid home with the winning run. Trevor Rosenthal (3-4) hurled two scoreless innings in relief for the victory.Cubs 7, White Sox 2CHICAGO -- Ben Zobrist reached base four times -- including his 500th career extra-base hit -- to help the Cubs defeat the White Sox.Zobrist went 3-for-4 with two doubles plus a walk and an RBI. Willson Contreras was 3-for-5 with four RBIs including a three-run homer, his 16th of the season.The Cubs' John Lackey (7-9) made it back-to-back victories since coming off the disabled list with a successful five-plus inning outing. The only blemish was getting caught stealing after his only hit.Astros starter Charlie Morton (8-4) threw seven shutout innings against the club he pitched four games for last year before a hamstring injury cost him the remainder of the 2016 season.Royals 3, Tigers 1DETROIT -- Danny Duffy recorded his second victory over Detroit in a week as Kansas City won its seventh straight game.Duffy (7-6) was the winning pitcher in the second victory of the streak, a 16-4 pummeling of the Tigers on Thursday in Kansas City. On Tuesday, Duffy limited the Tigers to one run on six hits in 6 1/3 innings.Whit Merrifield led off the game with a homer, his 11th of the season. Eric Hosmer added an RBI single, and Mike Moustakas had a sacrifice fly for the Royals. Kelvin Herrera pitched the ninth for his 21st save.Rays 5, Orioles 4ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- Tampa Bay struck for five runs in the second inning then didn't get another hit until the eighth in its victory over Baltimore.Tim Beckham belted a three-run homer off the Orioles' Wade Miley (4-9). Rays rookie Jake Faria (5-1) continued an impressive start to his career, going 7 1/3 innings and holding Baltimore to three runs. He recorded an eighth quality start in nine major league appearances.Welington Castillo delivered a two-run single in the eighth inning for the Orioles to make it 5-4. Baltimore's Trey Mancini hit his 16th home run of the season, a solo shot in the sixth.Rangers 10, Marlins 4ARLINGTON, Texas -- Joey Gallo launched two of Texas' four home runs in a rout of Miami.The Rangers' power surge backed a solid showing from Cole Hamels (5-1), who bounced back from his first loss of the season. The left-hander worked six innings, giving up four runs and six hits while striking out five and walking two.Gallo upped his team-high home run total to 25 with his second career multi-homer game. Mike Napoli added his 22nd long ball, and Rougned Odor hit his 20th. Texas finished with a season-best 31 total bases.Blue Jays 4, Athletics 1TORONTO -- Cesar Valdez pitched into the seventh inning against his former team, and Ryan Goins had a two-run double as Toronto defeated Oakland.The Blue Jays scored four unearned runs against Oakland starter Sonny Gray in the second inning to help them take the second straight contest of the four-game series. The Athletics have lost 10 of their last 11 at the Rogers Centre.Valdez (1-0), making his first start and fifth appearance as a Blue Jay, allowed five hits, one walk, one run and struck out four in his second start of the season. His first start was for Oakland on April 20. The Blue Jays claimed Valdez off waivers on May 5.
