It is a bit surprising to see Peterson struggle so much at the plate this year with the Generals, as he was impressive in 58 games at Double-A to close out the 2014 season. Last season in just 58 more plate appearances with Jackson the 23-year-old corner infielder hit 13 home runs -- 11 more than he has hit so far this season. There is not a big enough sample size or enough information to draw any significant conclusions from Peterson's struggles this season, but his prospect stock is certainly trending down. | ||||||
