Rodriguez received an 80-game suspension for testing positive for the performance-enhancing drug Stanozolol, MLB.com's Jordan Bastian reports.

Rodriguez, 22, was in the midst of his best season as a professional at High-A Lynchburg, and perhaps now we know why he was having so much success. The Dominican outfielder was slashing .293/.335/.492 with 12 home runs and 24 steals in 93 games, but he was still just a fringe top-10 prospect in a suddenly loaded Indians system. Owners should ding his stock in dynasty leagues for now, as it is unclear how much of this breakout season was aided by the use of performance-enhancing drugs.

Rodriguez is slashing .280/.341/.505 with nine home runs and 13 steals with High-A Lynchburg.

Given the outfield talent on the Lynchburg roster, Rodriguez has played 32 of his 54 games at DH, but he has the tools to handle all three positions in the outfield. At 22 years old, it is a bit surprising the Indians have not pushed him to Double-A yet, which would allow him to get more regular work in the field. Look for Rodriguez to be playing in the upper minors sometime this summer.
