Rodon said he could not answer whether offseason shoulder surgery would be a possibility. Rodon went 2-5 with a 4.15 ERA and 76 strikeouts in 12 starts over 69 1/3 innings this season. "He continues to be a big part of what we view as the future of the organization," White Sox manager Rick Renteria said. "Unfortunately this year, he's been down quite a bit. Baker said Kelley, who left Friday's game after recording one out in the eighth inning when his right arm went numb and his hand swelled up after delivering a pitch to Mets CF Juan Lagares, is dealing with inflammation and nerve issues in his arm, though the testing will determine exactly where the problem is located. Kelley also battled a similar injury during the playoffs last season.
