Ceda has been absolutely dominant as New Orleans' closer this year, holding a 1.36 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 53/13 K/BB ratio over 39 2/3 innings, but he hasn't fared so well in his multiple stints with the big club, giving up six earned runs over 5 1/3 frames. Maybe his luck will change this time around. |

Ceda was a bit overweight when he arrived at camp and wasn't allowed to participate in workouts last week. He must have dropped the necessary pounds by Monday morning. The 24-year-old righty posted good numbers in the minor leagues last season and is trying to land a job in the big league bullpen this spring. |
