Yes, you're reading it correctly. After parts of seven big league seasons behind the plate, Johnson is going to try his hand at pitching. For what it's worth, the 31-year-old has made a couple scoreless appearances in his career, once for the Mets in 2012 and again for the Cardinals last year. Still, it's obviously a long shot that he'll ever amount to anything on the mound. |
