Seahawks declared WR Charly Martin, S Winston Guy, CBs Danny Gorrer and Byron Maxwell, Gs John Moffitt and J.R. Sweezy, and DT Jaye Howard inactive for Thursday night's game against the 49ers.
Maxwell is battling a hamstring issue, and Moffitt is out with a knee injury. Other than those two, the Seahawks are relatively healthy. Paul McQuistan will start at right guard with James Carpenter at left guard.

The Charlotte Observer's Darin Gantt predicts that Charly Martin will make the Panthers' final roster over Kenny Moore.
The Panthers like Martin on special teams and feel he has a higher upside than Moore, who is more of a high-floor, low-ceiling player. Regardless, neither guy is going to make a fantasy impact. Moore could get claimed if Carolina tries to pass him through waivers.

Martin caught one pass in seven games with Carolina last season. With Kenny Moore impressing early in camp, Martin's chances of making the roster just took a major hit. He could end up on the practice squad instead.
