The Jaguars signed Taylor from the practice squad Saturday.
Taylor, who caught 19 passes for 189 yards and a score in seven games with the Jags last season, will provide depth with Cecil Shorts (hamstring), Marqise Lee (hamstring) and Allen Hurns (ankle) all nursing ailments. Lee is the only one who is not expected to play Sunday, however, so Taylor isn't likely to make a significant impact in Week 3.
Sat Aug 30 201415:22Taylor released by Jaguars
Taylor has been released by the Jaguars, NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports.
Taylor caught 19 passes in seven games for the Jaguars last year, but the team improved its wide receiver depth in the offseason, drafting both Marqise Lee and Allen Robinson (hamstring) in the second round, and then unearthing an undrafted gem in Allen Hurns. Taylor will likely be the first to get a call if any of the Jags' receivers suffers an injury before Ace Sanders returns from his four-game suspension.
Sun Dec 29 201317:14Kerry Taylor leads Jags in Week 17 receiving
Jaguars WR Kerry Taylor caught eight balls for 75 yards and a touchdown in Jacksonville's Week 17 loss to the Colts.
Taylor led the Jags in receiving in their meaningless season finale. The Arizona State alum has bounced around the NFL through three seasons, failing to find a home but showing solid hands and some special teams value. He lacks Dynasty league appeal at the moment, but Taylor likely earned a longer look from receiver-needy teams with this impressive end-of-year performance.

Sun Nov 24 201318:24Kerry Taylor has one-catch day in victory
Operating as the No. 3 receiver in Jacksonville's Week 12 win over the Texans, Kerry Taylor caught one pass for seven yards.
Taylor drew only four targets on an afternoon where the Jags went run heavy. With Mike Brown (shoulder) likely to return for Week 13, Taylor is well off the fantasy radar.

Sat Sep 14 201317:01Cards sign WR Taylor with Fitz questionable
Cardinals promoted WR Kerry Taylor from their practice squad.
Saturday signings are often made when teams anticipate injury situations affecting their Sunday rosters. Larry Fitzgerald is questionable with a hamstring injury, so it's possible Taylor's promotion is an indication the Cardinals are worried he'll miss Sunday's game against the Lions. Beat writer Darren Urban calls Taylor "Larry Fitzgerald insurance." We hope to have a more definitive update by Sunday morning, but the Cardinals and Lions don't play until 4:05PM ET game, putting fantasy owners in a bind. Keep an eye out for updates.
