Tue Jan 18 2011 | 05:49 | Giants offer Terry Evans a non-roster invite |
The Giants offer Terry Evans a non-roster invitation for spring training. |
Now he can celebrate his 29th birthday in style. Evans has been a decent hitter and shown good power and speed in a nine-year minor league career, but has earned only 19 at-bats at the major league level. The Giants have several decent outfielders, though none are all-star caliber. Evans will have a small window to prove himself, and he faces an uphill battle to get through it. |
