Arizona Diamondbacks relief pitcher
Kyle Nelson is slated to act as the opener for Saturday's game versus the Pittsburgh Pirates. The 27-year-old will get a bullpen game started with the team still missing
Merrill Kelly (calf). Nelson possesses a serviceable 2.76 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 42:9 K:BB over 32 2/3 innings this season. The numbers are adequate and it's a plus draw vs. an already volatile Pirates lineup without a few key contributors. However, the southpaw is unlikely to get in enough action in this one to make much of a difference for fantasy managers in daily settings.
