He had posted double-digit steals in each of his previous five seasons but didn't come close in 2014, getting caught five times in eight attempts. |

Galvez passed and is currently awaiting a travel visa. The Padres expect him to arrive in camp in the middle of next week. The 21-year-old middle infielder batted .291/.335/.465 with 13 homers, 86 RBI, 37 stolen bases and an .820 OPS over 128 games with High-A Lake Elsinore last season. |
