This is a good sign, as he posted a high 4.63 ERA through his first 35 frames of the summer at Triple-A. Leiter earned a promotion to the major leagues earlier this summer but struggled as he allowed 17 earned runs in nine innings of work. However, if Leiter continues to perform well at Triple-A, he may earn another opportunity down the stretch.
