Clark was traded from Denver to Houston for an undisclosed draft pick, the Texans' official site reports.
The Texans apparently felt the need to bolster the depth on the offensive line. Clark will serve as a swing tackle and will be put to work immediately this coming Thursday when Houston and Dallas square off in preseason Week 4.

With Ryan Clady back healthy to guard Peyton Manning's blind side, Denver wants to keep Clark in the starting lineup because the team considers him one of its top-five offensive linemen. Clark is a rock-solid pass protector and adequate run blocker. Incumbent RT Orlando Franklin has kicked to left guard. Clark will be pushed in training camp by third-round pick Michael Schofield.

The Broncos' swing tackle, Clark was a restricted free agent. He's appeared in all 16 games each of the past two seasons, and made six starts in 2011. He played just 66 snaps in 2012, however. Going on 28, Clark will be an unrestricted free agent next offseason.
