Graham logged 12 tackles in Sunday's win over Tennessee, the fourth straight game he's posted double-digit totals. |
There's another good sign here in that Graham posted big tackle numbers even with fellow starting free safety Aaron Williams returning to action from a neck injury. With 48 tackles, including three for a loss, plus a fumble recovery, Graham sits first in overall IDP totals among safeties in a number of formats heading into Monday night action. Bully for those who stuck with Graham following a one-tackle dud in Week 1. |

Graham logged 12 tackles in Sunday's win over the Dolphins. |
With fellow starting safety Aaron Williams suffering a next injury in Week 2, Graham has really stepped up his game, logging 22 tackles over the last two weeks. The converted cornerback sees the field on pretty much every play, and is starting to have the look of a decent IDP play in Rex Ryan's defense. |

Graham (concussion) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Patriots. |
Graham is out there if you need him Sunday, but after a recording just one tackle in Week 1 prior to sustaining his concussion, we'd like to see him get a full and productive game in before recommending him as an IDP lineup option. |

Graham was a full participant in Friday's practice and is considered probable to face the Patriots in Week 2. |
Graham suffered a concussion in Buffalo's season-opening win and thus was limited during the early portion of practice this week. However, in returning as a full participant Friday, Graham has seemingly passed league protocol, putting him in line to play Sunday. |

Graham (concussion) will be a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, Chris Brown of the Bills' official site reports. |
Graham left the victory over the Colts early with a concussion and will now try to pass the league's concussion protocol. His initial prognosis is a good sign for the Bills secondary which could use all the help they can get with Tom Brady and the rest of New England's dynamic offense coming to town Sunday. |

Graham left Sunday's win over the Colts and will now undergo the league's concussion protocol. |
It was a nice opening week win for the Bills, but they suffered injuries to their secondary so it came with a price. The Bills could use their veteran safety back next week, as they face the Tom Brady Aerial Show. |

Graham looks to have cemented the starting strong safety job, The Buffalo News reports. |
The only uncertainty revolved around a position switch for Graham, as he's been a cornerback for most of his pro career. A handful of younger players never mounted a serious challenge, and the Bills will now open the season with a reliable safety twosome of Graham and Aaron Williams. |

Graham has been moved to safety for the foreseeable future, The Buffalo News reports, |
Graham spent some time at safety last season, but the Buffalo native has been a CB most of his career. Supposedly, he'll compete with Duke Williams for the starting free safety spot opposite Aaron Williams, though worst case the veteran Graham would likely land as a super utility type in Rex Ryan's defense. |
Wed May 13 2015 | 10:55 | While Graham playing cornerback at spring practices |
While Graham has been playing cornerback at spring practices, the Bills haven't ruled him out of the safety spot, The Buffalo News reports. Said coach Rex Ryan, "It's something that we will definitely consider. You try to get your best 11 players on the field and I think Corey is a tremendous player. It wouldn't surprise me if he has the talent to do that." |
Graham has the skill set to play either spot, but the Bills are likely deeper at the corner spot - especially after drafting Ronald Darby with their first pick - and Graham likely would be the third man there. At safety, he might be able to start opposite Aaron Williams following the free agent departure of Da'Norris Searcy, though it's possible Graham could be used in a hybrid role if the team decides to give him some safety work. The versatile Graham played both cornerback and safety for the Bills last season when injuries affected the safety depth. |

Graham played every defensive snap in Buffalo's win over Cleveland on Sunday, logging seven tackles and one passed defensed. |
Graham is a full-fledged starter now that Leodis McKelvin is out for the season. If your league makes you use corners, note that Graham will see high-volume passers in Peyton Manning, Aaron Rodgers, and Tom Brady in three of the final four weeks. |

Graham is expected to take over the starting left cornerback position for as long as Leodis McKelvin (broken ankle) is out of the lineup, BuffaloBills.com reports. |
Considering it's a fractured ankle for McKelvin, that might mean the rest of the season for Graham, who has spilt time between both safety and corner this season but should now settle into McKelvin's spot full time. If your league makes you use cornerbacks, Graham is capable of putting up pretty good numbers, as evidenced by a 10-tackle outing in Week 2 with three passes defensed, and that was when he was getting plenty of time at cornerback. Teams have also started to throw away from teammate Stephon Gilmore as well, meaning Graham should be in on plenty of action the rest of the way. The veteran has 50 tackles, nine passes defensed, and one interception in 10 games this season. |

Graham, who started at free safety in place of an injured Aaron Williams, registered eight total tackles in Sunday's loss to the Patriots. |
Graham saw the field a ton, which included 97 percent of the defensive snaps as well as an additional 18 special teams snaps. He's fallen back to third in the cornerback rotation behind Stephon Gilmore and Leodis McKelvin, but keep an eye on Williams' status during the week, as Graham could fall back to a starting safety role again if needed. And it might be a way to pick up cheap points if your league forces you to use CB-assigned players, which is where Graham probably shows up in most formats. |

Graham is expected to start at free safety in Sunday's game against the Patriots. |
Graham's move to starting safety comes in wake of usual first-teamer Aaron Williams being ruled out with a wrist injury. Playing more centrally than he normally would at cornerback, Graham's tackling numbers should benefit from his position change Sunday. |

Graham did not register a tackle in Sunday's win over the Lions, and ended up playing a modest 47 percent of the defensive snaps. |
That's a far cry from how Graham started out the season, when he logged 18 tackles over the first three games. By comparison, Stephon Gilmore played every defensive snap and Leodis McKelvin was on the field for 87 percent of them. Both of those two have stepped up their play the last few weeks, so while Graham will continue to see the field he may be starting to slip back into the No. 3 role he was signed on for. |
Tue Sep 16 2014 | 18:00 | Coach Doug Marrone said Tuesday Bills are going to continue rota... |
Coach Doug Marrone said Tuesday the Bills are going to continue rotating their top three corners - Graham, Stephon Gilmore, and Leodis McKelvin - during games provided all three are healthy, BuffaloBills.com reports. Said Marrone, "All three (are starters). I'm not trying to play games. We've been rotating them from day one since they've been back. I keep saying the same thing. Everyone is trying to pin, Who are the two (starters)? Who are the two (starters)?' But we've got a pretty good deal going if we have three guys ... I firmly believe, with the level that they're playing, that those three players will produce more than if it's just two." |
Graham, whom the Bills signed via free agency this past offseason, actually has the most playing time of the three corners so far with 91 percent of the defensive snaps. That may go down a bit as Gilmore gets healthier, though Graham's strong play has at least earned him a share of the starting rotation. Through two games, Graham has 13 total tackles, six passes defensed, and an interception - not bad at all for a guy expected to be the No. 3 corner. |
Sat Jul 19 2014 | 22:13 | Bills GM: Corey Graham not in plans at safety |
Bills GM Doug Whaley confirmed that safety is "not in the plans right now" for Corey Graham. |
"Corey brings depth, he helps us outside and nickel and I think in a pinch we would put him at safety," Whaley said. Graham is the favorite for nickel duties entering training camp, but will need to hold off second-year UDFA Nickell Robey. Graham had 74 tackles, four interceptions, and 12 pass deflections covering the slot in Baltimore last season. |

Corey Graham is working as the Bills' primary nickel corner at OTAs. |
Second-year UDFA Nickell Robey has been bumped from the role despite a strong rookie year. There was speculation Graham might replace Jairus Byrd at free safety after signing his four-year, $16 million deal, but for now he's penned in at slot corner. Duke Williams is getting a chance to start at free safety. |

Tue Mar 25 2014 | 07:35 | Corey Graham may play safety in Buffalo |
Bills coach Doug Marrone stated at the league meetings that Corey Graham will get a look to replace Jairus Byrd at free safety. |
Graham, signed to a four-year, $16 million deal, gives Buffalo position flexibility with an ability to play outside cornerback, slot corner, and safety. For now, Da'Norris Searcy and Duke Williams are penciled in as competitors at free safety opposite SS Aaron Williams. The job will be sorted out in camp. |

The Redskins have scheduled a visit for free agent CB Corey Graham. |
The Skins' top competitors for Graham appear to be the Ravens and Giants, although this will be Graham's first visit, giving Washington the edge to land him. He is a highly versatile special teamer and sub-package defensive back. |
