Cardinals P Dave Zastudil's 2013 salary has increased from $975,000 to $1.475 million after triggering a salary escalator in his contract.
Zastudil punted a league-high 112 times this past season and had the fifth-highest net average at 41.4 yards. He also landed a league-best 46 punts inside the 20-yard line. Zastudil, 34, was one bright spot for Arizona, and he's entering the final year of his deal.

Zastudil was still bothered this summer by a torn patella tendon that was repaired last season. The Browns will go forward with Reggie Hodges, who is averaging 43.8 yards per punt.

Browns placed P Dave Zastudil (knee) on injured reserve, ending his season.
Zastudil underwent surgery last season to repair a torn patella tendon, and his knee continued to bother him throughout training camp. His Browns career could be over as he's due to hit free agency in 2011. Reggie Hodges will handle punting chores this year.

Browns P Dave Zastudil is still recovering from surgery to repair a torn patella tendon in his knee.
It's believed that the procedure was to Zastudil's non-punting knee, and he hopes to be ready for Week 1. He's scheduled to make $1.415 million in a contract year.
