Norwood had two catches on five targets for 25 yards Sunday against the Ravens.
Norwood was surprisingly active Sunday given that he was behind Cody Latimer and Andre Caldwell on the depth chart, but Latimer didn't get a single ball thrown his way and Caldwell caught his only target for one yard. The Broncos throw the ball quite a bit, though Emmanuel Sanders and Demaryius Thomas get such a dominant share of the targets that it would be tough for Norwood to become a consistent fantasy option.

Norwood will be placed on injured reserve after tearing his ACL at practice Wednesday, the Broncos' official site reports.
Losing Norwood is a hit to the Broncos' wideout depth, as well a special teams hit, given that he was in the the team's punt return mix.

There are fears that the knee injury Norwood suffered at practice Wednesday could be a torn ACL, ESPN.com reports.
While that has yet to be confirmed, if that is the case, it would represent a hit to the Broncos' receiving corps depth, with Norwood making a push to stick with the team as a reserve wideout/punt returner.

Bucs agreed to terms with WR Jordan Norwood, formerly of the Browns.
DE Aaron Morgan was waived in a corresponding move. A fifth-year undrafted free agent, Norwood spent the past two years with the Browns. He was waived on Monday. He's likely just a camp body, but the Bucs don't have a set slot receiver. Norwood plays exclusively in the slot.

Sat Jun 15 201321:28Browns WR Jordan Norwood on the bubble
ESPN Cleveland considers WR Jordan Norwood on the roster bubble.
Norwood is a carry over from former GM Tom Heckert and will need a strong preseason to avoid being cut. Josh Cooper, Ryan Miller, and Owen Marecic are also in danger of losing their roster spots.

Tue Apr 2 201317:38Browns re-sign two ERFAs
Browns re-signed exclusive rights free agents WR Josh Cooper and LS Christian Yount.
Norwood caught 13 passes in two games last season before a foot injury landed him on injured reserve. He'll compete with Josh Cooper for slot duties. The Browns are hosting free agent David Nelson for a visit on Thursday. Nelson would vault ahead of both Norwood and Cooper if signed. Regardless of whether Nelson is brought aboard, Norwood won't be guaranteed a roster spot in camp.

Fri Oct 12 201216:55Jordan Norwood sent to I.R. can return
Browns assigned WR Jordan Norwood (foot) the "designated for return" tag on injured reserve.
Norwood can't resume practicing for six weeks, and won't be eligible to return for eight weeks. It's an extremely ill-timed blow for a player who had recently locked down slot duties and caught a career-high nine passes in Week 5. It also means rookie Brandon Weeden will have one less security blanket over the middle. Although Norwood should play again this season, he's not worth holding onto in PPR leagues. It's unclear whom the Browns will install in the slot.

Thu Oct 11 201215:33Browns WR Norwood on crutches
Browns WR Jordan Norwood (foot) was spotted on crutches Thursday.
The Browns have been mum on Norwood's status, but with his left foot in a boot, he's clearly out for Week 6. It's a disappointment for a player who could have been in for increased snaps with Mohamed Massaquoi (hamstring) and Travis Benjamin (hamstring) both still on the shelf. Norwood should be considered week-to-week.

WR Jordan Norwood is listed on the Browns' Week 6 injury report.
Coach Pat Shurmur declined to provide an update when asked if Norwood is hurt. It's strange timing considering Norwood had a career day with nine catches and 81 yards in Week 5. He has the starting slot job sewn up as long as he's active against the Bengals this week.

Mon Jul 23 201208:47Jordan Norwood has a battle on his hands
ESPN Cleveland says not to be surprised if undrafted rookie Josh Cooper edges out Jordan Norwood for the slot receiver job.
Norwood managed just 23 catches in 14 games last season. Meanwhile, Cooper was Brandon Weeden's second-favorite target at Oklahoma State, hauling in 71 catches for 715 yards a year ago. At the very least, Norwood has a battle on his hands.

Thu May 31 201209:25Jordan Norwood working as starting slot WR
Jordan Norwood is working as the first-team slot receiver at Browns OTAs.
He should be pushed for this role in camp by rookies Travis Benjamin and Josh Cooper, but Norwood is the incumbent and gets the first crack. Norwood finished last season with 23 catches for 268 yards and one touchdown. The only Browns receivers worth 2012 fantasy looks are Greg Little and perhaps Benjamin.

Wed May 23 201208:42Cooper pushing Norwood in the slot?
ESPN Cleveland's Tony Grossi believes undrafted rookie Josh Cooper could be a "formidable challenger" to slot receiver Jordan Norwood.
Cooper's odds increase if Brandon Weeden wins the quarterback job, as the two played together at Oklahoma State. Grossi also believes Josh Cribbs "appears to be fading as an integral receiving option by the coaching staff," and Carlton Mitchell "could be a wild-card surprise if he has an injury-free preseason."

Tue Apr 17 201211:22Jordan Norwood signs ERFA tender
Browns re-signed exclusive rights free agent WR Jordan Norwood to a one-year, $465,000 contract.
An undrafted free agent in 2009, Norwood had made just one career appearance before appearing in 14 games last season. He made four starts, and hauled in 23 catches for 268 yards and a touchdown. A 5-foot-11, 180 pound slot receiver, Norwood has limited to nonexistent fantasy upside in the Browns' pop-gun attack.
