Dansby led the Browns with 10 combined tackles (three solo) in Sunday's victory over the Ravens.
Dansby's first double-digit tackle total of the season propelled him to the team lead (40 combined tackles), slightly edging out Donte Whitner. That being said, Dansby has yet to collect a sack or turnover this season, leaving many IDP owners with much to be desired.

Dansby collected nine tackles (five solo) in Sunday's loss to the Raiders.
Dansby continues to be effective as an IDP in his age-33 season, and is the most likely candidate to lead the Browns in tackles if he stays healthy all year.
Sun Sep 20 201511:55Dansby (foot) listed as active for Sunday's game against Titans
Dansby (foot) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Titans.
Dansby, who notched 93 tackles in 12 games last season and seven stops in Week 1, will give it a go Sunday, though it remains to be seen if he'll be up for his normal allotment of snaps against the Titans this week.
Fri Sep 18 201517:48Dansby (foot) returned to practice Friday on limited basis
Dansby (foot) returned to practice Friday on a limited basis, the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
While the Browns list the linebacker as questionable for Sunday's game against the Titans, Dansby is confident that he will suit up this weekend. "Man, I'll be out there. Period. I'm playing," said Dansby, who notched seven tackles in Week 1.
Wed Sep 16 201519:01Dansby (foot) did not practice Wednesday
Dansby (foot) did not practice Wednesday.
Per Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal, Dansby thinks that he'll play Sunday against the Titans, though IDP owners counting on the linebacker in Week 2 will want to monitor his status as the week continues.

Dansby collected seven tackles (four solo), including two tackles for loss, in Sunday's loss to the Jets.
Dansby would have been the team's leading tackler a season ago had he not endured a four-game absence due to a knee injury. He instead finished with 93 combined tackles -- his lowest total since 2006. Look for the 33-year-old to have a bounce back campaign if he's able to stay healthy.

Dansby, who had eight tackles (six solo) in Sunday's loss to the Ravens, finished the season with 93 tackles (47 solo), three sacks and an interception.
Even though Dansby missed a four-game stretch this season with a knee injury, he still managed to finish third on the team in combined tackles. Although his turnover numbers were down a bit from 2013, he's still one of the top IDP options when he puts a full season together.

Dansby (knee) had 12 tackles (five solo) in Sunday's loss to the Panthers.
Even after missing four straight games, Dansby picked up right where he left off with a double-digit tackle performance. The knee injury looks to be behind him heading into the regular season finale against Baltimore, and fantasy owners can safely deploy Dansby as an IDP.
Sun Dec 21 201411:41Dansby (knee) active for Sunday's matchup against Panthers
Dansby (knee) is active for Sunday's matchup against the Panthers.
Danby hasn't taken the field since Week 11, but will return to resume his role as the captain of the Cleveland defense. His return likely means less opportunities for Craig Robertson and Christian Kirksey, both of whom have filled in admirably in Dansby's absence. The linebacker was a top IDP option before suffering a knee injury, but it's unclear if he'll immediately return to that status.

Dansby (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Panthers, the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
More on Dansby's status as Sunday's 1:00 ET kickoff approaches, but we'd like to see him get a full and productive game in before recommending the linebacker as a fantasy lineup option.
Wed Dec 17 201419:22Dansby (knee) limited at practice Wednesday
Dansby (knee) was limited at practice Wednesday, the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
Dansby, who has missed the past four games with an MCL injury, is inching toward a return, but his status for Sunday's game against the Panthers is unclear at this stage. "Dansby should get some good work today," coach Pettine said on Wednesday. "We'll have a much better sense after today and tomorrow."

Dansby (knee) is officially inactive for Sunday's game against the Bengals.
Dansby has not played since Week 11 and would have been a risky play as the fantasy playoffs arrive anyhow. Tank Carder should step into the starting lineup.
Fri Dec 12 201417:10Dansby listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Bengals
Dansby is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Bengals, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
If Dansby isn't 100 percent, some snaps at middle linebacker will likely go to Tank Carder. With fantasy playoffs here, the veteran isn't likely to be an IDP option for the rest of the season.
Sun Dec 7 201411:48Dansby (knee) inactive for Sunday's matchup with Colts
Dansby (knee) is inactive for Sunday's matchup with the Colts.
Dansby will sit his third straight game, giving Craig Robertson and Christian Kirksey another opportunity to rack up high tackle totals for the Browns. Coach Mike Pettine indicated this week that Dansby is "getting closer," but it looks like his return will have to wait until at least Week 15 against the Bengals.

Dansby (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Colts, according to the Akron Beacon Journal's Nate Ulrich.
While Dansby appears to have a shot to suit up this week, we'd like to see him get a full and productive game in before recommending him as an IDP option.

Coach Mike Pettine noted Wednesday that Dansby (knee) is "getting closer" to a return, the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
Dansby has now missed two straight games due to the injury, but at least appears to be heading in the right direction. If he can log some practice time this week, he'll likely attempt to suit up Sunday afternoon against the Colts. However, if Dansby doesn't progress as expected, look for another big week out of Craig Robertson and Christian Kirksey.
Fri Nov 28 201415:41Dansby (knee) ruled out for Sunday's game against Bills
Dansby (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Bills, the Browns' official site reports.
We'll revisit Dansby's status next week, but at this stage, the linebacker expects to return to action in Week 14 against the Colts.

Coach Mike Pettine noted Wednesday that Dansby (knee) is getting closer to a return, according to Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
While Dansby should still be considered iffy for Sunday's game against the Bills, Pettine indicated Wednesday that at this stage, the Browns aren't yet ready to rule the linebacker out for this week.
Sun Nov 23 201411:41Dansby (knee) inactive for Sunday's matchup with Falcons
Dansby (knee) is inactive for Sunday's matchup with the Falcons.
Dansby is believed to have suffered a sprained MCL in Week 11, so it's no surprise to see him sit out just a week after sustaining the injury. The Browns' combined tackle leader will have to wait until at least Week 13 against the Bills to add to his total. Look for Christian Kirksey or Tank Carder to see added reps in in the base defense, with Craig Robertson to see time in the nickel package, per Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram.
Fri Nov 21 201413:26Dansby (knee) doubtful for Sunday's game against Falcons
Dansby (knee) is doubtful for Sunday's game against the Falcons, according to the Akron Beacon Journal's Nate Ulrich.
Dansby, who is dealing with an MCL injury, will almost assuredly sit this weekend, though a Week 13 return is plausible if he is able to fit in some practice time next week.
