Hardy was a force on the pass rush in his Cowboys debut Sunday, collecting five tackles including two sacks and forcing a fumble.
The Cowboys will be on bye next week, but beginning in Week 7 expect Hardy to be a consistent IDP asset for the remainder of the season.

Hardy was officially re-instated to the Cowboys roster Monday after serving his four-game suspension.
Defensive tackle Ken Bishop got waived to make room for him on the 53-man roster. Hardy joins a Dallas pass rush that has only six sacks through four games and should be itching to make a good impression with his new team when they take on the Patriots in Week 5.
Thu Sep 10 201520:17Greg Hardy: No Longer Fighting 4-Game Suspension
Hardy (suspension) will not pursue any further litigation to reduce his four-game suspension, according to the NFLPA's website.
Hardy will miss the first four games of the season, setting him up for a 2015 debut in Week 5 against the Patriots. Once eligible, he'll presumably be the starter at right defensive end.

Hardy is now considering taking the NFL to court to get his four-game suspension further reduced in the wake of Tom Brady's successful challenge of his own 'Deflategate' suspension, ESPN Dallas reports.
He was originally suspended for 10 games, which got reduced to four after an appeal, but following the success of Brady's court challenge Hardy may now be considering the same approach. If he does launch his own challenge, his suspension would likely be held off until the case is decided, which would make him available for Week 1's game against the Giants.
Fri Jul 31 201511:31Hardy suffered minor rib strain Thursday
Hardy suffered a minor rib strain Thursday, Todd Archer of ESPN Dallas reports. "To be honest with you, with Greg right from the start, he was actually going too hard," coach Jason Garrett said. "He was going too hard in the weight room and too hard on the field early on in the offseason. So he's a guy that is really committed to being the best that he can be. And I think he wants to be a part of something special. And I think he wants to come to work every day and show his teammates what he's all about in terms of his work ethic and what he can bring to our football team."
Expect the club to take it easy on the defensive end until he's 100 percent healthy, but the Cowboys are committed to getting Hardy as many reps as they can in camp given that he's currently set to serve a four-game suspension to begin the season.
Fri Jul 10 201514:51Greg Hardy: Suspension Reduced To 4 Games
Hardy's suspension has been reduced from 10 games to four, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.
Much to the Cowboys' delight, Hardy's appeal was successful. He'll still miss the first four weeks of the season, after missing the final 15 games of 2014. If he's still the same player who recorded 26 sacks between the 2012 and 2013 campaigns, the Cowboys will have landed one of the best bargains in free agency, albeit on just a one-year contract. Hardy's probably not worth a look in most IDP leagues, as he's never topped 41 tackles in a season.
Wed Apr 22 201516:25Hardy suspended by NFL
Hardy has been suspended by the NFL, without pay, for 10 games, for conduct detrimental to the league, NFL.com reports.
Per the report, Hardy will appeal his suspension, which ESPN.com notes is the outcome of the league's two-month investigation following the dismissal of the defensive end's domestic violence case. In the absence of a reduction in his suspension, Hardy won't be eligible to suit up in a regular season game with the Cowboys until the team's Nov. 22 contest against the Dolphins.
Wed Mar 18 201516:08Hardy has signed one-year deal with Cowboys
Hardy has signed a one-year deal with the Cowboys, NFL.com reports.
Per the report, Hardy's incentive-laden contract with the Cowboys could be worth up to $13.1 million. Hardy, who remains on the Commissioner's Exempt List, could face a suspension to start the upcoming NFL season, but when the defensive end (who recorded 15 sacks for the Panthers in 2013) takes the field for Dallas, he'll provide his new team's pass-rush with a major boost.
Wed Mar 18 201510:29Hardy could be close to signing contract with Cowboys
Hardy could be close to signing a contract with the Cowboys, the Dallas Morning News reports.
He would fill an immediate need for the 'Boys at defensive end and provide a massive upgrade to their pass rush, but there's also a good chance that Hardy will face a suspension once he comes off the commissioner's exempt list, stemming from a domestic violence situation last year. Given that they're picking late in the first round of this year's draft though, long after the elite pass rush options will likely be off the board, the Cowboys don't really have any other options if they want to improve on last season's 28th place finish in sacks.

Hardy's (suspension) domestic abuse charges were dismissed Monday, Jonathan Jones of the Charlotte Observer reports.
Hardy's accuser reportedly made herself "completely unavailable," leading to the dismisal. He heads into the offseason as a free agent, and it would cost the Panthers over $15 million to franchise tag him for 2015. The defensive end played just one game in 2014 before being suspended, recording four tackles, one sack and one forced fumble.

Hardy's (suspension) jury trial on domestic violence charges will be postponed until early 2015, the Charlotte Observer reports.
Hardy's jury trial was originally scheduled for Nov. 17, but that date has been pushed back due to a crowded court docket. The defensive end is currently on the commissioner's exempt list and is unlikely to play this season, since the Panthers have indicated they will wait until Hardy's legal situation is resolved before determining his future with the team.

Hardy's jury trial on domestic violence charges -- which had been scheduled for Nov. 17 -- has reportedly been postponed until after the NFL season, according to the Charlotte Observer.
Per the report, the defensive end -- who is on the commissioner's exempt list -- is unlikely to play again this season, as the Panthers have indicated that they will wait until Hardy's legal situation is resolved before determining his future with the team.
Wed Sep 17 201416:46Hardy will be placed on commissioner's exempt list
Hardy will be placed on the commissioner's exempt list, according to the Panthers' official site.
Panthers GM Dave Gettleman noted Wednesday that Hardy had the option to be placed on the exempt list and took it. According to NFL.com, the designation requires that Hardy remains away from all team activities while he is on the exempt list, with the defensive end thus out indefinitely.
Mon Sep 15 201414:49Coach Ron Rivera said that Hardy will practice this week
Coach Ron Rivera said that Hardy, who was inactive Sunday against the Lions, will practice this week, ESPN.com reports. "Greg is with the team," Rivera said of Hardy. "We're going to go through this week and evaluate circumstances. It's a fluid situation."
While the defensive end is slated to practice this week, the Panthers have not yet made a decision on whether Hardy will be active for Sunday night's game against the Steelers.
Sun Sep 14 201411:38Hardy inactive for Sunday's game against Detroit
Hardy is inactive for Sunday's game against Detroit, NFL Network reports.
Hardy played last week, but the Panthers are holding him out after saying all week he could play. NFL Network reports it's not injury related, so we can only assume it's related to his off-field legal issues.
Fri Sep 12 201416:31Hardy (non-injury) probable for Sunday's game against Detroit
Hardy (non-injury) is probable for Sunday's game against Detroit.
Hardy is receiving a lot of heat from both media and the general public as the domestic violence allegations against him from May receive increased coverage, but the Panthers are currently willing to let Hardy's ambiguous legal status absolve themselves from any disciplinary considerations. The situation is something to monitor as his Nov. 17 jury trial approaches, however.
Thu Sep 11 201418:08Hardy (personal) returned to practice in full capacity Thursday
Hardy (personal) returned to practice in a full capacity Thursday, the Panthers' official site reports.
After tending to his personal matter, Hardy assumed his typical spot at right defensive end, where he posted four tackles (three solo), one sack, and one forced fumble in Sunday's opener in Tampa Bay.
Wed Sep 10 201417:41Hardy missed Wednesday's practice for personal reasons
Hardy missed Wednesday's practice for personal reasons, Joe Person of the Charlotte Observer reports.
The absence was apparently not a result of the legal issue swirling around Hardy, who will continue to log time at right defensive end until his jury trial arrives on Nov. 17. In Sunday's opener in Tampa Bay, he tallied four tackles (three solo), one sack, and a forced fumble.

Hardy posted four tackles (three solo) and one sack in Sunday's win over the Buccaneers.
Hardy now has at least one sack in four straight regular season games dating back to last year. After tying the Panthers' single-season record in the category with 15 last term, Hardy got off to a good start on the new campaign Sunday and will aim to continue his streak at home versus the Lions in Week 2.

Hardy (shoulder) is not listed on the Panthers' injury report in advance of Sunday's regular season opener in Tampa Bay.
Hardy dealt with a bruised shoulder during the preseason, but will be fine to play in Week 1 this Sunday. In wake of tying the Panthers' franchise sack record last season, Hardy represents one of the NFL's premier pass rushers going into this year.
