Harewood, 27, was cut by the Broncos last month. He hasn't appeared in a game since 2012 with the Super Bowl champion Ravens. Harewood can play either guard spot and right tackle. He's appears to be on his last legs in the NFL.

The 2010 sixth-rounder was signed to a reserve/future deal in January. All six of Harewood's career appearances came with the Ravens in 2012. He's getting near the end of the NFL line.

Broncos signed G/T Ramon Harewood, LB Jamar Chaney, LB Jerrell Harris, TE Jameson Konz, DB Charles Mitchell, TE Cameron Morrah, DB Jerome Murphy, and RB Jerodis Williams to reserve/future contracts.
All eight worked out for the Broncos on Tuesday. None are eligible for Denver's Super Bowl roster but will compete for roster spots this summer. Harewood made five starts for the Ravens last season. Murphy was the 65th pick of the 2010 draft by the Rams. Morrah caught 16 passes for Seattle from 2009-2011.

The Broncos worked out free agent G/T Ramon Harewood on Tuesday, and reportedly plan to sign him.
A 2010 sixth-rounder, Harewood has just six career appearances, all of which came for the Ravens in 2012. Five of those appearances were starts. Harewood will be an extra body for Denver's offensive line in Super Bowl XLVIII.

Ravens GM Ozzie Newsome has long been weak to Harewood's potential as an athletic and versatile 6-foot-6, 340-pounder. Harewood was exposed in pass pro during five starts at left guard last year. He'll vie for a roster spot in camp.

Ramon Harewood will start at left guard for the Ravens on Monday night.
It was previously thought that Bobbie Williams would play at the position, but Baltimore is going with the inexperienced Harewood. He has never played a regular season down due to injuries in his first two seasons. Michael Oher will play left tackle and Kelechi Osemele will line up at right tackle with Bryant McKinnie on the bench. Jah Reid is inactive with a calf injury.

The injury requires surgery. A sixth-round pick last year, this is the second consecutive season Harewood has been placed on injured reserve before the season even started.

Ravens rookie OT Ramon Harewood, who's on I.R. and out for the season, has undergone surgery on both knees.
He had an arthroscopic surgery on his left knee, and an "open procedure" on his right. Still on crutches, Harewood vows to be "back in time for the offseason." He's got upside as a potential No. 2 left tackle of the future.

Sixth-round OT Ramon Harewood is expected to be sidelined 3-4 weeks after suffering tissue damage in his right knee during Ravens minicamp.
Harewood had to be carted off the field, so he's fortunate that no ligaments were damaged. A massive (6'7/358) small-school prospect out of Morehouse, Harewood has the size and athleticism to develop as a starting caliber bookend. He's likely ticketed for the practice squad in year one.
