Sun Oct 11 201515:12Sean Lee: Active Sunday
Lee (concussion) is active for Sunday's game against the Cardinals, Brandon George of the Dallas Morning News reports.
After receiving clearance from the concussion protocol Saturday, Lee will return to his rightful place at weak-side linebacker. Despite being limited to 14 snaps in Week 4, he remains the Cowboys' leading tackler with 36 on the season.

Lee successfully completed the league's concussion protocol and will play Sunday against the Patriots, ESPN Dallas reports.
The Cowboys will need all hands on deck to try and contain Tom Brady and the Pats offense, so having Lee available along with the returning Greg Hardy and Rolando McClain could give them a fighting chance.

Lee (concussion) is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Patriots.
Despite exiting with a concussion in the first half of last week's loss to the Saints, Lee is on pace for 144 tackles. Facing a fast-paced, high-powered New England offense, Lee is one of the better IDP options in Week 5. He's also one of the better options for the entire season, with his ability to stay healthy the only real concern.
Thu Oct 8 201516:42Lee (concussion) limited in Thursday's practice
Lee (concussion) was limited in Thursday's practice, Rob Phillips of the Cowboys' official site reports.
Lee was removed in the first quarter of Sunday's loss to the Saints due to a concussion, but his presence on the field Thursday indicates that he may soon receive clearance from the league's protocol for head injuries. Once he's cleared, he'll resume his role as the Cowboys' starting weak-side linebacker, from which he's accrued a team-high 36 tackles this season.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones expects Lee (concussion) to play against the Patriots on Sunday, the Dallas Morning News reports.
Lee has a long history of injury concerns, but concussion haven't been one of his bigger issues. Of course, recovery from concussions is tough to predict, and Lee still needs to make it through the NFL's protocol. He suffered the injury during Sunday's loss to the Saints, leaving him with 36 tackles through the first four games of the season.
Sun Oct 4 201521:46Lee (concussion) will not return to Sunday's game in New Orleans
Lee (concussion) will not return to Sunday's game in New Orleans, NFL Network's Desmond Purnell reports.
Lee left during the first half to be evaluated for a concussion, and he was ruled out for the night shortly thereafter. Even with Rolando McClain (knee/suspension) potentially returning next week, it will be a big blow to the Dallas defense if Lee misses time any games beyond Sunday. Lee was also off to a fantastic IDP start, with 33 tackles (23 solo), a sack and an interception through three games. He also had three more tackles (two solo) before leaving Sunday's game.

Lee left Sunday's game against the Saints during the first half to be evaluated for a possible concussion, ESPN's Todd Archer reports.
Lee's had a hard time staying healthy in recent seasons, but he hasn't missed time due to a concussion since 2010. Any absence would be a massive hit to the Dallas defense, as Lee is making an early case for DPOY consideration.

Lee recorded 10 tackles (seven solo) and a sack in Sunday's Week 3 matchup against the Falcons.
After earning the NFC Defensive Player of the Week following last week's contest, Lee followed it up with another impressive performance today. He led the team in tackles which will likely be a regular occurrence in 2015, assuming he stays healthy. Lee is a solid IDP at the linebacker position.
Wed Sep 23 201511:12Lee named NFC Defensive Player of Week
Lee has been named the NFC Defensive Player of the Week, DallasCowboys.com reports.
He racked up 14 tackles in the win over the Eagles including nine solo tackles and two TFL, while also defending two passes and intercepting a Sam Bradford pass in the end zone. To cap off his impressive performance, Lee also recovered Philadelphia's onside kick inside the final two minutes of the game to seal the victory. With Tony Romo (collarbone) and Dez Bryant (foot) both out of action for the foreseeable future, Lee will need to continue leading the Cowboys defense if they are going to stay afloat in a still-winnable NFC East.

Lee had a huge game Sunday, recording 14 tackles (nine solo) and intercepting a Sam Bradford pass in the end zone.
He was constantly in the Eagles backfield disrupting their running game, and Lee was the biggest reason why DeMarco Murray was held to just two yards rushing on 13 carries. As long as he can stay healthy, Lee should remain an IDP asset.

Lee led the Cowboys with nine tackles in Sunday's comeback win over the Giants.
It looks like Lee will still have plenty of IDP value playing on the weak-side this season, at least as long as he can stay healthy.

Lee (knee) began taking part in team drills with the Cowboys on Saturday, Drew Davison of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.
The oft-injured linebacker is working his way back from an ACL tear sustained during offseason workouts in 2014, but is expected to be up to full speed by the time the season begins. He's set to transition to his middle linebacker position to a spot on the weak side this season, which should still allow him to contribute useful production as an IDP in the instances he's able to stay on the field.
Mon Aug 3 201510:01Lee (knee) has yet to take part in team drills
Lee (knee) has yet to take part in team drills, DallasCowboys.com reports.
There's no indication that he's dealing with a new injury, and team trainers are simply being cautious with the fragile Lee after he missed all of last season due to a torn ACL. If he's able to make it to Week 1 in one piece, he's still expected to start at weakside linebacker.
Tue Jun 16 201514:57Lee (knee) got in some team work at Tuesday's minicamp practice
Lee (knee) got in some team work at Tuesday's minicamp practice, Todd Archer of ESPN Dallas reports.
Lee is slightly more than a year removed from tearing the ACL and meniscus in his left knee. He's played just 17 games over the past three seasons but was highly effective when last seen on the field (Week 14, 2013). Assuming he continues to make good progress in his recovery, he's locked in as the Cowboys' starting weakside linebacker, with Rolando McClain manning the middle. Both are candidates to be useful IDP contributors, but McClain is reportedly facing the possibility of a four-game suspension, and he won't necessarily stay on the field for passing downs.
Sat May 23 201509:28Lee (knee) will be limited participant in next week's OTAs
Lee (knee) will be a limited participant in next week's OTAs, Mickey Spagnola of DallasCowboys.com reports.
He's had a great offseason as he comes back from a torn ACL, but the Cowboys don't want Lee to overdo things. If he can stay healthy for once, and the move to weakside linebacker goes smoothly, the team is expecting him be a vital part of their defense.
Sat May 2 201514:09Lee (knee) has looked "fantastic" in offseason workouts
Lee (knee) has looked "fantastic" in offseason workouts, Jon Machota of the Dallas Morning News reports. Cowboys Director of Player Personnel Stephen Jones added, "As you might expect, he's ready to go."
Lee is nearly a year removed from surgery to repair the ACL and meniscus tears in his left knee, which clearly wiped away the 2014 campaign. With Rolando McClain back in the linebacker mix, a healthy Lee will be free to move to outside linebacker this fall. After posting 22 tackles as a rookie in 2010, Lee averaged 8.1 tackles per game from 2011-13, which were occasionally injury-plagued.
Thu Feb 19 201509:49Lee ahead of schedule in rehab from knee surgery
Lee is ahead of schedule in his rehab from knee surgery, and is expected to be a full participant in April's offseason program, the Dallas Morning News reports.
The Cowboys indicated last season that Lee would play weakside linebacker when he came back rather than the Mike position, to try and reduce his risk of getting hurt, but with Rolando McClain not yet re-signed the club may have to return Lee to the middle in 2015 and take their chances.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said Friday that Lee (knee) will likely play weakside linebacker when he returns to action in 2015, Brandon George of the Dallas Morning News.
Lee is one of the better linebackers in the NFL, but he has had serious trouble staying healthy the last few seasons, and the Cowboys may move him off of the middle linebacker position to both minimize their risk and limit his snaps. It's far too early to call this a final decision, but it appears Lee may have ceded the starting middle linebacker job to the rejuvenated Rolando McClain for good.

Thu Jun 12 201414:05Sean Lee goes under the knife on Thursday
Cowboys MLB Sean Lee underwent surgery on his torn left ACL Thursday.
Doctors also repaired a "small meniscus tear." According to coach Jason Garrett, the Cowboys have yet to decide if Lee will begin training camp on injured reserve or the active/PUP list. Either way, Lee is facing long odds of making a Melvin Ingram-esque return late this season.
