Lanning, who has never punted in an NFL game, will be competing against T.J. Conley in training camp. Lanning has a squatty build at 5'11" and 200 pounds, which he believes is a benefit to kicking in cold weather. He has the ability to place kick and hold, making him more versatile than Conley. Lanning also has a history with special teams coach, Chris Tabor, making him a virtual lock to win the job. | ||||||
