The Florida Times Union reports the Jaguars "like the potential" of DE Ryan Davis.

Davis, a 2012 UDFA out of Bethune-Cookman, has appeared in eight games for the Jags the past two seasons, notching four tackles, one sack, a pass break-up, and an interception. At 6'3/261, he's not a great athlete, but has impressed the coaching staff and is expected to serve as the No. 3 pass-rushing end behind Chris Clemons and Andre Branch. Davis can also play inside on passing downs.
