Cyprien missed the last two weeks with a variety of nagging injuries, but it appears as if the run-stopping safety should be primed to go against the Colts this Sunday. With Josh Evans (knee) injured during Week 3's contest against the Patriots, Cyprien should slot in his customary strong safety position should he be cleared to compete.

Cyprien is inactive Sunday against the Patriots.

With Sunday's matchup now just two days away, it appears the Jags will be without Cyprien. The starting safety recorded 114 tackles and four passes defended last season, and he's coming off of a four-tackle performance in Week 1 against Carolina.

The second-year safety was probably Jacksonville's most dependable defensive player, as he played every defensive snap in 14 of 16 games. While he failed to record an interception, he's one of the better tackling safeties in the league and had three games with double-digit takedowns. Cyprien will return next season as the anchor of an improving secondary.

Cyprien had another big day Sunday, racking up a game-high 15 tackles (12 solo) to go with one pass defended.

Cyprien now has 26 total tackles over the past two games. He's yet to record an interception or sack this season, however.

Cyprien had a season-high 11 tackles (nine solo) in Sunday's loss to the Steelers.

Cyrpien reached double-digit tackles for the first time this season and has 17 over his last two games. He's yet to record an interception or defend a pass, however.
