The Panthers signed Glanton off their practice squad Saturday.

Glanton will provide some insurance with Chase Blackburn (knee) doubtful for Week 7, but the expectation is that Glanton will play exclusively on special teams Sunday against Green Bay, if active. Glanton notched 74 tackles (41 solo) and 2.5 sacks as a senior at Florida Atlantic last season.
