They had been trying to deal him all spring to no avail, so this isn't a huge shock. Vazquez didn't exactly make himself indispensable this spring as he hit a forgettable .176/.243/.176. He joins the ever growing ranks of middling 30-somethings who are hoping to get an offer, but who have to know that they're fighting against time. |
